PSU.com - PlayStation Unchained

Gamers rejoice; RDGH 31 has arrived! This week, the most racially diverse gaming crew on the Internet comprises host Glenn Gordon, Ben Shillabeer-Hall, Garri Bagdasarov, and our favorite injured shapeshifter, Fraser Miller, and as always, they have some interesting things to talk about!

A fellow gamer from N4G had an interesting comment about the whole Tomb Raider thing. Does the infamous "Internet Gaming Community" hurt or help games? Also, Destiny, one of the most anticipated games of 2014 so far, has finally gone gold! September 9 can't come soon enough!

Not only that, but there's some news in Marvel's universe that makes even the RDGH crew look away from gaming for a moment.

Our intro music this week is called "Hack That," a parody of "Smack That" by Akon. It was made by ItsAllMinecraft on YouTube (that's right, it's not actually about computer hacking). We love the song and we think you will too, so prove us right by buying it on iTunes and checking out the rest of his great Minecraft-related music on his YouTube channel!

Our ending music is "The Identity Song" by SZ Loc and Digs on YouTube. He has some great music there as well, so be sure to subscribe and support him, and follow him on Twitter @SZLoc.

If you know of any other musicians with music worth promoting, tweet us @TheRDGH! Brownie points if it's gaming-related!

All of this and more makes the latest episode of RDGH. Be sure to follow that Twitter of ours, and tweet us if you have something to say or something you'd like us to discuss. Leave us a review somewhere and tweet us a link to it. We'll read your tweets and reviews on the air!

Stay tuned next Monday (September 1, 2014) for episode 32, and whatever you do, don't be a racist.

PSU's stellar crew is back with episode 52 of PlayStation Unchained! This episode marks a full year of PlayStation Unchained content, not counting the special episodes! Thanks for listening, and we hope you continue to do so!

This week, Ben takes the reigns along with Dane Smith and Paul Kelly to discuss the latest news and reviews in the world of PlayStation. The zombie movement continues (perhaps a little too far) with GTA 5: Zombie Outbreak. There's discussion of Silent Hills, and the game that Sony promises to be pee-your-pants scary, PT. In addition, shortly after the announcement that Destiny has gone gold (i.e. is being prepared for shipping), PSU has learned that Bungie is activating Destiny's servers ahead of the game's scheduled September 9 launch. Are you excited? We're excited.

In addition, there are plenty of reviews and good-natured banter to enjoy, so be sure to tune in and tell your friends!

Also, follow us @PSUnchained, and tune in next week and beyond for plenty more. Remember, for the greatest news in PlayStation gaming, stick to PSU.com.

Episode 30 is a compact hour and twelve minutes long, but that doesn't mean it's not full of interesting stuff! Join host Glenn Gordon, Garri Bagdasarov, and Ben Shillabeer-Hall as they tackle the latest gaming news.

NPD results are in, and PlayStation 4 is still leading the charge into this new generation of consoles and games. The crew addresses the figures for all major gaming machines and their software, and the common claim that X or Y console "has no games."

Both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have some important updates coming, and there's lots to look forward to on both devices. Find out what you'll be getting on your console very soon!

The news that Rise of the Tomb Raider is temporarily an Xbox exclusive has been highly controversial in the gaming industry, and Microsoft's Phil Spencer and developer Crystal Dynamics have both released interesting statements. The RDGH crew has a take on all of this, including whether or not PlayStation gamers' fury at this news is justified.

The intro music this week is a remix of a song from the original Tomb Raider game on the first PlayStation console. It's called "Adventure Is In the Air" and was remixed by EmptyMy. You can download this and many other great video game remixes in full, for free, at OCremix.org.

The ending music is called "Video Game Song (Nightcore)" and is by the talented Jaki Rose. Subscribe to her on YouTube (JakiRoseMusic) and check out the rest of her great music!

As always, subscribe to us on iTunes or wherever you find us. Send us Tweets to discuss or links to your reviews @TheRDGH and we'll be happy to discuss them on the air next week!

Episode 51 has arrived, and PSU's crew has plenty to discuss this week! Enjoy the podcast and be sure to leave us feedback @PSUnchained.

WARNING: This is an in-depth discussion about The Last of Us and contains major spoilers. DO NOT listen to this discussion if you have not completed the single player campaign for the game.

RDGH's Glenn Gordon, Garri Bagdasarov, and Ben Shillabeer-Hall discuss the major events of The Last of Us as played on the PS4. Tweet us your experience with the game and your comments about ours at @TheRDGH!

RDGH is back for episode 29 after a mysterious disappearance last week! Join the most racially diverse gaming crew on the Internet today: host Glenn Gordon, Dane Smith, Garri Bagdasarov, and Ben Shillabeer-Hall!

This week, the crew discusses Goat Simulator's success, and one author's opinion that the intentionally low-quality game should win Game of the Year. It also discusses the validity of review scores versus the reviews themselves.

There's also EA Access. Is Sony right to deny its 10 million strong audience EA's new subscription service?

You definitely want to hear the crew discuss the scarcity of Destiny's Ghost and Limited collector editions and offer a great solution for possibly finding one without spending exorbitant amounts of money on eBay.

After that comes a great discussion about Gamescom 2014. Keep in mind that this episode was recorded before Gamescom and thus some information in it may have been proven false during the actual Gamescom 2014 event. What do you think about our discussion compared to what actually happened?

Let us know on Twitter @TheRDGH. Tweet us with your opinions and topics you'd like us to discuss, and we will do so on the air! Leave us a review wherever you find us, tweet us a link to it, and we'll give you a shoutout on the air as well.

If you have played The Last of Us already, look out for a separately-released "sub-episode" where Glenn, Garri, and Ben discuss one of the greatest games of all time in depth. Warning: There are spoilers!

We've used this song as our ending music before! This week we've used it as our intro. Follow QuackDatOneGuy for more interesting stuff! Our ending song this week is The Quarantine Zone (20 Years Later) by Gustavo Santaolalla, from the one and only The Last of Us soundtrack. The soundtrack is currently available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and other stores everywhere.

Finally, we've reached episode 50! Celebrate with us on this week's episode, and be sure to follow us on Twitter @PSUnchained!

RDGH 28 comes along on a Monday this time to further prove the old saying that it's better late than never! Join the most racially diverse gaming crew on the Internet, with host Glenn Gordon, Garri Bagdasarov, and Ben Shillabeer-Hall, as they discuss recent gaming news.

After years of uncertainty, it looks like the Uncharted movie is finally on the path to the silver screen. Meanwhile, it's confirmed: Google is buying video game streaming service Twitch for a billion dollars. Is it really that big a deal for Twitchers?

The crew also tackles an article that makes a very interesting claim about the Xbox One. Spoiler alert: we think it's wrong.

Tune in this week for all of this and plenty more.

Our intro music this week is "Blame Canada" from the movie South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. Our ending, of course, is Nate's Theme, from Uncharted 3.

Be sure to follow us on Twitter @TheRDGH and tell us your opinions on today's topics. We will discuss your tweets on the air next episode! Leave us a review wherever you find us, drop us a link on Twitter, and we'll read it and give you a shoutout on the air too!

Join the PSU staff for episode 49 of PlayStation Unchained! There's plenty to discuss this week!

Please note: PlayStation Unchained 50 has been delayed. We're sorry about that, but we'll be back next week for our fiftieth episode!
