Racial Diversity Gaming Hour 23 - Bungie’s disgruntled Xbox fans

Posted in ps4, gaming, vita, ps3, video games, Racial Diversity Gaming Hour, xbox, nintendo, Wii by psu on June 25th, 2014

Episode 23 arrives during a controversial week in the world of gaming! Join host Glenn "The Commissioner" Gordon, The Original Ben Sterling, and KGB Garri Bagdasarov as they discuss the latest gaming news.

Garri doesn't believe that video game conferences should have "Behind Closed Doors" demos of games, and that E3 shouldn't be as much about video games as it is.
Also, many Xbox gamers have been very upset with Bungie's seemingly close relationship with Sony as of late concerning its upcoming game, Destiny, to the point that the company, formerly owned by Microsoft but now completely independent, has responded multiple times. Do Xbox gamers really have something to worry about?
Gamers, if you love awesome music and happy nostalgic feelings, be sure to check out OverClocked Remix. They don't know we're talking about them, but we love what they do. This episode's music comes from OCR. The intro, Immortalized, is a remix from Halo 3, done by Sole Signal. The ending, In Memoriam, is a FULL remix, also from Halo 3, by Brandon Strader. Star King, a remix of the StarWolf theme, done by DaMonz and used as the intro of RDGH episode 21, also makes an appearance. To hear and download these and many more amazing video game remixes in full and for free, visit www.ocremix.org.

Welcome to the 22nd episode of the Racial Diversity Gaming Hour! Join the most racially diverse gaming cast on the Internet (this week, it's host Glenn "The Commissioner" Gordon, KGB Garri Bagdasarov, and The Original Ben Sterling) as they discuss the gaming world as we all know it, and whether or not the attitudes of some gamers are affecting the gaming community as a whole.

Also, NPD has finally announced its May sales figures, and the cast discusses the way things were just before E3 and whether or not they could change.

This week's intro and ending come from Overclocked Remix. Both are brilliant remixes of the ever-popular Dr. Wily Stage 1 theme from Mega Man. Racial Diversity Gaming Hour 20 - Watch Dogs is here and E3 2014 is coming

Posted in ps4, gaming, vita, ps3, video games, Racial Diversity Gaming Hour, xbox, Wii by psu on June 5th, 2014

Episode 20 of the Racial Diversity Gaming hour is here, and with it the most racially diverse gaming cast on the Internet today! Join host Glenn "The Commissioner" Gordon, KGB Garri Bagdasarov, The Original Ben Stirling, and The Shapeshifter, Fraser Miller as they talk about the latest events in gaming.

The most anticipated new IP in history, Watch_Dogs, finally launched on May 27, breaking industry records for a new IP by selling an enormous amount of copies in its first week of public existence. As many gamers are discovering, however, Ubisoft did not manage to make the game perfect on the first try. What went wrong?
Sony and Microsoft both plan to launch the PS4 and Xbox One in China--but with strict content rules and a society relatively inexperienced with video games, is the largest country in the world really worth their effort?
The Wii U has finally earned a ray of light, outselling the PS4 in Japan and significantly increased interest around the world. How has its latest offering, Mario Kart 8, helped the struggling Wii U?
All of this and more makes the latest episode of RDGH. Enjoy!
Our intro music this week is a vocal remix of the Rainbow Road track from Mario Kart 64. It was made by talented remixers Benjamin Briggs and Level 99 from OCremix.org. To hear the rest of the song and download it and many more amazing video game remixes for free, visit OCremix.org.
Be sure to subscribe to us on iTunes, and you can have both of our amazing podcasts downloaded to all your iThings automatically! Also, remember to follow us on Twitter @TheRDGH. Tweet us your opinions and leave us iTunes reviews, and we'll discuss them on the air!
